OK, so my title is just a wee bit misleading, because I’m not actually going to tell you Chloe’s big secret… because I don’t know what it is!!
The other day Chloe looked super stressed, and I was like, “I know, I’m bummed the Twilight series is going to end soon too!”
And she was like, “No, that’s not it…it’s just that…”
And then she just stopped talking, mid-sentence! The suspense was killing me!
So I was like, “And…!?!?”
Then she said, “I don’t really want to talk about it. It’s a secret.”
I was kind of super sad at first! I wondered if she thought she couldn’t tell me because I’m a huge blabbermouth or something.
Which I’m not…even though I love you guys, if Chloe or Zoey said something is top secret, the last thing I’d do is blog about it!!
Then I thought maybe she didn’t want to tell me because it had to do with me. Suddenly I had all these flashbacks to things I did recently that might have annoyed her.
I put her on call waiting after school the other day, and then totally forgot she was there. (I felt so bad!)
I got lunch at McDonald’s for me, Chloe, and Zoey and then tripped and squished our food. (And I really wanted that burger!)
I spilled ice cream on this totally cute top I borrowed from her. (Mmmmm, chocolate…)
Man, I have to be more careful. I’m kind of a super oblivious klutz…but that’s beside the point.
It COULDN’T be that she was mad at me about those things. I mean, Chloe’s an awesome friend, so she doesn’t stress over dumb little things.
Then WHAT WAS IT???
What was bugging her so much? And WHY wouldn’t she tell me?
It was driving me CRAZY!
So I called Zoey. I didn’t want to be all like, “Chloe has a secret and she won’t tell me!” because telling someone that your friend has a secret is just as bad as telling the secret itself!
Instead, I just tried to see if Chloe said anything to Zoey.
I was like, “So I was just reading this article about Tyra’s beauty secrets. Has anyone told YOU any secrets lately?”
Then Zoey was like, “OH MY GOD YES!! My Mom just told me she has a secret celebrity crush on Zac Efron, even though he’s like WAY too young for her. How weird and creepy is that??”
She was right…totally weird and creepy!
But back to Chloe…
Do you think it’s probably no big deal, and it’s just something she doesn’t feel like talking about? Should I try to get her to tell me what it is?
