You know how I’m always looking for new ways to earn extra cash? I FINALLY decided how I’m going to make my fortune…I’m going to be the world’s best inventor!!
At first I wasn’t sure this was a great idea. I mean, so many awesome things have already been invented.
Then I was thinking, what if Steve Jobs thought that? Then I’d NEVER get an iPhone because there wouldn’t be one!
And just think about how boring the world would be if we all had to talk on regular phones and didn’t have all kinds of awesome apps and stuff.
That’s no way to live!!
Anyways, I have to find MY iPhone…my super cool, awesome invention that someday NO ONE will be able to live without!
I read a bunch of inventor articles online, and they all said the best way to invent something is to solve some kind of problem.
I decided to make a list of my biggest problems so I could figure out what to invent:
-MacKenzie is SUPER mean to me pretty much 24/7.
-Brianna drives me CRAZY pretty much 24/7.
-I REALLY want Brandon to officially ask me out because I think about him ALL the time. (But not 24/7…hey, I have a life!)
I’m pretty sure there’s nothing I can invent to help with that stuff, but I DO have some other annoying little problems.
-Sometimes I wake up with such HORRIBLE bed head that it looks like I stuck my finger into an electrical outlet…and I never have time to fix it!
-I get SO much homework that doing it could be a FULL-TIME JOB (except I never get paid!)
-Sometimes I get pimples so big they have their own pimples, and they take FOREVER to go away.
-I can’t convince my mom to teach me how to drive and let me drive her car. (She’s all like, “No I will not break the law for you Nikki.” Isn’t that what moms are for?!?)
THESE problems I can work with! So here are my inventions ideas:
For the bedhead problem, I’m thinking I can invent some kind of new pillow that keeps your hair looking perfect all night long, so you NEVER wake up with a frizzy, matted looking head.
For the homework problem, I could invent some type of app that does your homework for you. But it would ONLY do the stuff you already know really well. (This way you still learn stuff AND you get to keep your social life!)
For the pimple problem, I could invent some kind of moisturizer that makes it so you NEVER get a pimple…ever!
As for the driving problem…well, I’d pretty much have to invent a time machine so I could travel to 16 and get my dang license. (But I have NO idea how do that…Why don’t they cover THAT in all the homework they give us?!)
So those are my ideas. Which one do you think is the best one? Would you buy any of these things? And do YOU have any invention ideas?
