I REALLY WANT THOSE SNEAKERS, BUT…!!!

brandon_post_photos_34

What’s Up Brandon,

All of my friends are wearing these expensive, cool, designer sneakers that cost $200 or more.

I guess you could say that it’s the newest fad my school.

I really want to fit in, but I can’t afford to buy them.

What should I do?!

Kyle’s Kicks

Hi Kyle,

Just like people, some shoes are flashier than others but inside they are all basically the same. I know that middle school can be tough sometimes. Everyone wants to “fit in” to keep from “standing out”.

Standing out can sometimes lead to teasing.  But, it can also lead to self-confidence.

Be proud of who you are as an individual and work on improving yourself, not the list of designer stuff in your closet.

Shoes are just shoes no matter whose designer name is on them.

If your friends like you for who you are as a person, it will not matter what you are wearing on your feet.

What are some of the crazy or expensive fads and trends at YOUR school?

Do you follow some of them?  Why or why not?

Ask Brandon a question

Get the boy side of things!

Hey, guys! Having trouble talking to the girl you like? And girls, do you ever wonder what boys are really thinking? I’ve got you covered! I’m here to give you honest advice from a dude’s point-of-view. Understanding the opposite gender doesn’t have to be as hard as Honors Calculous. As a guy, I’ve learned a thing or two about girls just by hanging out with my friend, Nikki. So, go ahead! Tell me what’s on your mind! I’ll answer a question each week and post one of the cool pics I’ve personally taken of the kids at my school.
