OUR DORK DIARIES LETTER!
Hi everyone! It’s Nikki here, and I’d like to thank Brandon for allowing me to take over his column today to post Part 2 of our letter update.
This is about our effort to send response letters to all of our Dork Diaries readers who have written to us during the COVID pandemic. This task was complicated by the fact that the majority of our letters were from classrooms and students, but many of these school buildings were closed and students were in virtual classrooms. So, we delayed sending out letters for a while. However, now that most schools or school buildings have reopened, our goal is to have all of your letters sent out ASAP!
Since many of you requested it in the comments section, here is the info to send a letter to Rachel Renee Russell, the author of Dork Diaries.

You will get an email response usually within 7 days or less. Unfortunately, we can’t send readers any of our Dork Diaries items by email.

Once we receive your correspondence, you will get a letter from us through the postal service that looks very similar to the one in the photo above. Due to the large number of letters we receive, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for a response.
As you can see, the FOUR items inside the postal service letters are a Dork Diaries Book 15 bookmark and three vinyl stickers! Nikki is featured on the bookmark rocking a trendy, “Parisian Glam,” look. The set of three vinyl stickers are of Nikki, Brandon, and MacKenzie hanging out in Paris. Items for the Max Crumbly book series are available upon request.
About 25% of our postal letters are from readers around the world, and we especially love answering these. Our response letters will contain the items shown above. Since the postal transit time is longer for letters sent outside of the USA, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for a response.
There was a well-thought-out suggestion that we answer some of our letters through a template on our Dork Diaries website. However, any letters created in this manner cannot be personalized to even include your real name due to online privacy laws. So, this kind of defeats the purpose of getting a personal letter from the author if it can’t actually be personalized, right?
The good news is that we’ll be sending out another large batch of response letters next week. We hope to have ALL of our letters answered and mailed out by the end of June.
UPDATE ON DORKY DETAILS VIDEO!
Many of you have requested an update on the Dorky Details video. So, here is an update about Noelle and her next DORKY DETAILS VIDEO!
Like many of you, she is currently super busy studying for her final exams at school. She wanted me to give you her message that she is really looking forward to hanging out with all of you again. And, she plans to finish and post her video as soon as she completes all of her exams. Noelle can barely wait for school to be over so she can start her summer vacation and post even more Dorky Detail Videos 😀!
